Our Mission

Empower4Life is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves to teach children to develop the skills needed to be healthy and productive in school, feel empowered to overcome challenges they face, and inspired to learn, grow and succeed the rest of their lives.

We Believe…

That environment starts with caring, dedicated teachers who are trained to utilize a specialized curriculum to give each homeless child an opportunity to become self-sufficient and confident.

That the importance of a holistic ethos in our approach to creating welcoming learning environments for jeopardized children is paramount.

That hands on, interactive learning experiences are the most memorable for the kids.

That an integrated approach focused on nurturing the HEART, MIND and BODY of each young shelter resident will serve best in helping to guide these children to a happy, healthy life.

That by bringing play, laughter and joy to homeless children in the form of our lessons for life sessions, we can decrease the negative health impacts of homelessness.

I’m a single mother of 3 sons and currently a resident of the shelter with my boys. We’ve been having a very difficult time financially and I wanted to express my gratitude to you for your kindness. Because of you, my boys will be able to start school with their heads held as high as they should. Thank you so much for this blessing.
