We Believe…

That environment starts with caring, dedicated teachers who are trained to utilize a specialized curriculum to give each homeless child an opportunity to become self-sufficient and confident.

That the importance of a holistic ethos in our approach to creating welcoming learning environments for jeopardized children is paramount.

That hands on, interactive learning experiences are the most memorable for the kids.

That an integrated approach focused on nurturing the HEART, MIND and BODY of each young shelter resident will serve best in helping to guide these children to a happy, healthy life.

That by bringing play, laughter and joy to homeless children in the form of our lessons for life sessions, we can decrease the negative health impacts of homelessness.

RESOURCES provided to youth

Empower4Life hosts Back-to-School and Adopt-a-Child drives each year to collect resources for children living in poverty across Baltimore, Cecil, and Harford Counties. With support from the community, we provide new clothes, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, toys, and more. Throughout the year, we also distribute care products, clothing, and other essentials through our Take Action Thursday initiative.
