Making a House a Home

Empower4Life was able to help a young woman today fill her first independent living space with towels, blanket, lamps, dishes, and other household items. We also provided her with a grocery gift card to keep the fridge full for a few weeks. She got her keys and we were there in 30 minutes. She even found a few things for her younger brother and sister that she is the primary caregiver of. She also happens to be a student we used to work with at The Wood (Kenwood) which makes this support extra special to me. Now, we rally to stay in touch and make sure this is sustainable for her.
