Making the Most of Cancelling Camp Quest 2020

We had to make the difficult decision of canceling summer camp this summer as a result of COVID-19! We couldn’t let that keep local children experiencing homelessness from having the summer that they deserve!! Instead, we created individual baskets filled with books, journals, scrapbooks, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, activity books, balls, jump ropes, scavenger hunts, water guns, hula hoops, basketball nets and many other items to help get the children outside, keep their minds moving and their hearts happy. Children experiencing homelessness already have a difficult time navigating the summer months. Thank you to ALL of our generous individual donors and the businesses that got us to the finish line ($13,000) via our amazon wish list. Thank you to my friends at Leadership Baltimore County, NFL Player Benefits, Chi sisters of ADK sorority, a donation that was made in honor of IND, Harbour Sign & Graphics and Outsiders CrossFit!

Lastly, to INEOS pigments that donated $4,000 to Empower4Life through the international INEOS Community Fund as a result of the impact of COVID-19. 50% of these funds went directly toward this special project. We are very grateful to the INEOS pigments site for recommending us for an INEOS community grant, which has come at an incredibly vital time.
