Inaugural Kindness Shed Reveal!

I’ve envisioned a space like this for a really long time, and am so excited that we are now officially operational! With no paid staff, and our entire team managing full time jobs and families, accepting physical donations (clothing, bookbags, etc) has always been a challenge and a hustle….which we don’t mind of course, but if we can put that energy elsewhere…we are all over that!

We now introduce to you our ‘Kindness Shed!’ This is a tiny space where community magic happens; generous donations can be dropped off by incredibly kind donors who are helping us to fulfill a weekly launch for a specific need for a family. Holiday donations can be donated here, care products delivered, and so much more!

In reverse, social workers, partner shelter staff members, and school system employees can pick up items that we have rallied for too! Our inaugural pick up happens tonight. It’s a new, large, warm winter coat for a high school student that doesn’t have one.

We hope our shed is a space that gives and receives warmth, kindness, and gratitude all year long!
